Oh! Our Mother Earth,
How great you are!
You weigh 6.6 septillion tons…
And provide shelter to all,
That’s why you are called,
“A mother of all”
You are a place,
A place to thrive,
Where we live and spend our life…
You are a mother,
A mother to a child,
Where we live and make you bright…
We love you in abundance like a child,
We bow our head with love and pride,
We live and die at front of your eyes,
We again take birth and you give us life,
But, sometimes in life, I feel your pain,
The pain you feel is arduous to explain,
Strange to say, yet veritable to think,
Let’s hear the truth which will make us sink…
The fanatics are born to divide us all,
Terrorists are here to shatter the peace overall,
Nuclear bombs are made for an invasion and fight,
Perhaps, there would be another world war right?
The pollution the human spreads is not so right,
The news of Global Warming is now alarming,
We are now afraid to see the Earth charming,
This is the reason the natural calamities takes place,
Poor earth is bored and seems to die and fade…
We now encounter floods, volcanoes,
Earthquakes and hurricanes,
It is because the evil in us has taken a place…
Our earth then weeps and just weeps,
She never utters a word in pain and grief…
Dear Earth, you are great, great like God,
Who forgives the evil, who hurt you a lot…
Please stop these atrocities with our earth,
Keep in mind!
She is our mother, who gives us birth!

Well said! That's a strong comment regarding Lord Shiv ji. I do believe that Brahma, Vishnu and Siva constitue the trinity of Hinduism. The saying is absolutely veritable, "Brahma is the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer." You've rightly pointed it out. We must care about our 'Mother Nature.' Yes excellent reminder to us that Earth is indeed a mother to all; and sadly if we don't pay the respect that she deserves, then the next generation will suffer the consequences of our lack of will to respect and protect her; and the harmonious relationship between her and future generations will seriously fall apart.

Earth is in close tandem with the Sun and Moon, as well. Even science tells us that they discuss through the language of gravity and electromagnetism.
We think we're so cool because we talk in sound waves. Our speech travels faster through a solid. Objective speech travels fastest through a vacuum.
